Disable a specific agent for your tenant
Turn off any non-Tier-3 agent at the tenant level. Tier 3 (Filing) cannot be disabled.
Disable a specific agent for your tenant
Some practices prefer manual control over certain workflows. You can disable any non-Tier-3 agent at the tenant level.
How
Settings → Agents → \[agent name\] → Toggle off
The toggle:
- Disables the agent for all clients under your tenant
- Existing in-progress executions complete; new ones are blocked
- Manual workflows that the agent would have run remain available - you do them by hand
What stays enabled
The Filing Agent (Tier 3) cannot be disabled. The rationale: even if you disable validation, reconciliation, etc., the Filing Agent's role is purely the portal submission with your explicit approval. Disabling it would mean you can't file at all.
Per-client overrides
If you want an agent enabled tenant-wide but disabled for one specific client:
Clients → \[id\] → Settings → Agent overrides
E.g. disable Tax Planning Agent for a high-net-worth client who has their own external tax advisor.
Audit
Every enable/disable is logged. The audit log shows:
- Who toggled
- When
- Before / after state
- Scope (tenant / client)
